SportsPlus is a physiotherapy clinic which prides itself on 15 years of providing excellent assessment, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and where appropriate, referral to the appropriate channels to the sedentary, active, athletic and elite athletes of the region. We keep abreast of the latest research and provide a one to one, confidential and affordable first class physiotherapy experience.
Our physiotherapy clinic specialises in musculoskeletal injury, which means we deal with bones, joints, ligaments, tendon, muscles and the nervous system. We also work with injury prevention strategies which is optimal in high risk sections of the population such as sports people, manual workers and people who drive for a living. We do orthotic assessment and provision using the latest technology of 3D scanning and printing to do so. Our philosophy is to bring clients back to the clinic as few times as possible and for this approach to work we need the client to work with us a take responsibility for their recovery by adhering to a carefully planned rehabilitation program. This usually is not a problem once the client understands his or her problem and realises why they are doing that specific rehabilitation. We set short, medium and long term goals with the client once we know what they expect of their recovery as it is vital to be able to see and plot progress in recovery. Our approach is very much one of working with people rather than for them. We realise that private physiotherapy can be expensive but we feel that the service we provide is excellent value for money and that once problems are managed optimally they are not an issue in future years.
