It’s official, the MidWest Business-2-Business group was launched today.
We had a fabulous breakfast buffet provided by the team in Andy Flynn’s, Sarsfield Street, Nenagh to start proceedings.
We then moved on to the formal part of the morning with an opening speech by Ronan Sherlock of SYS Wealth & Financial Planners. Ronan (MidWest B2B Chair) talked about how, in this high tech world, face-to-face meetings are ever more important in establishing trusted relationships. He also revealed that in the group’s short infancy, we have so far had referrals worth €30,000 passed between members.
Ronan then welcomed Mattie Ryan, Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council and asked him to say a few words. Mattie was delighted to see this initiative get started. He was very impressed with the fact that each quarter, a local charity will be the beneficiary of a donation from the group. This month it is going to be Carmha Ireland who will receive the donation on the 21st March.
Here are the speeches.
